Accreditation
St. Aidan's classes are accredited by the Asia Theological Association of India through our affiliation with the Center for Theological Leadership Training, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, and ACTS Academy of Higher Education, Bangalore, India. Credit for courses completed at St. Aidan's may be applied to the BA, MA, and Doctor of Ministry degree programs offered at CTLT.
Anglican studies certificate
Students who complete St. Aidan's core curriculum will earn a Certificate in Anglican Studies. This is especially useful for those with backgrounds in other Christian traditions who aspire to or are already engaged in Anglican ministry.
In 2022, the annual cost of a full-time seminary education in the United States ranged from nearly $6,000 to just over $22,000. For those with family and career obligations, this time and cost commitment can be a serious obstacle.
At St. Aidan's, we not only changed the academic model, we addressed the financial challenge. We crafted a theological education program that delivers the wisdom of the ages in a highly flexible, modern format. And our entire 13-course curriculum costs just $1,300—less than the average monthly mortgage payment in America.
So instead of suspending your life to become a full-time student, you can attend online classes on Saturday mornings (Eastern Daylight Time). St. Aidan's also includes three onsite residential experiences as part of its core curriculum. These eight-hour weekend courses, designed for group learning, offer powerful, intensive engagement with others that will become some of the richest and most memorable learnings you will acquire on this unique journey.
Theological formation for the 21st century
* Students living outside the US may contact the registrar to make special arrangements for completing weekend courses.
